Tiger Woods' niece is headed to the U.S. Women's Open.

Cheyenne Woods earned a spot in the field for next month's major after shooting a 2-over 146 in a 36-hole qualifier at Carolina Trace Country Club in Sanford, N.C., on Thursday.

Woods, a 21-year-old who played collegiately at Wake Forest, is the daughter of Tiger Woods' half-brother, Earl Woods Jr.

Cheyenne Woods was co-medalist at the qualifier after shooting a 2-over 74 on her first 18 and then a 72 on her second. She finished tied with the University of North Carolina's Katherine Perry.

The U.S. Women's Open will be played July 5-8 at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wis.

Cheyenne Woods is expected to make her pro debut next week at the LPGA Championship, the season's second major, according to Bloomberg.

Woods was an All-American at Wake Forest, where she set the lowest scoring average in school history and won the ACC championship by seven shots. She graduated with a degree in communications.
