We know at least one thing for sure about the future of Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones: Whatever Jones does today, tomorrow or in 2018, he won't lack for meal money.Last week, the O's signed... Read full story
I'm not sure if this correlates in the end, but could Jones leading the O's in stolen bases have anything to do with him seeing more pitches and not having a high walk rate. 17 Days ago

What's funny is his value is already over $14 million this season. I doubt he keeps up his .304 ISO but that doesn't mean this isn't a good contract. 18 Days ago

The stats displayed paint a picture of a past player, and don't detail the improvements he's made in the 3 seasons with the Orioles. His leadership role can;t be measured. He is clearly turning into the emotional leader of this team. He also plays a gold glove caliber CF and it a fan favorite. If the O's want to get their fans back they needed to sign him, despite what his past numbers supposedly predict. Good deal for both Adam and the O's 18 Days ago

Jones went 0 - 2 on Wednesday with a BB and a HBP, not 0-4. And if you watched his plate appearances it would have given you another window into why the "new" Adam might be real. He led off the top of the 9th with the Orioles down by 3 and an opportunity to extend his hit streak. Instead of hacking away in an effort to extend his 20-game hit streak, he left the bat on his shoulder on the way to a five-pitch walk.
That one walk is statistically insignificant, but the view into his mindset tells you something about his evolution. 18 Days ago
