KLAHOMA CITY -- Power forward LaMarcus Aldridge limped off the floor in the first quarter of the Portland Trail Blazers' game against the Oklahoma City Thunder because of a bruised right knee.

He did not return, but the Blazers went on to win 83-74.

Aldridge came out of the game late in the first quarter and did not play in the second period after having his knee taped on the Blazers bench. Coach Nate McMillan said X-rays on the knee were negative but he had no timeline for Aldridge's return.

He had scored six points, including a two-handed, alley-oop jam from Rudy Fernandez just two Portland possessions before he headed to the bench.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
