to answer the general question: the jets will handle distractions poorly. They seem to do it every year (especially last) and until they prove otherwise I think it will cost them the playoffs again

This should give the Jets an opportunity to see what they have in Sanchez. Either he will respond to the example Tebow sets of working harder, studying harder, and playing harder than anyone else on the field; and raising his (Sanchez's) game. Or he will show his true colors and Tebow will take the reigns and lead another team to greater heights than expected. Either way the Jets win.
