Hahaha. This story is rather thin. All he is saying is that both goalies and defenses are really good. Which is what everyone and their mother has been saying all week. This is going to be a very tight series. I don't know if it goes 7. I bet one team will win in 6. Either the Blues are just as dominant on the PP as the first round and break the Kings down, winning in 5 or 6, or the Kings find out a way to use that edge in Postseason experience to their advantage and take over mentally. Either way goaltending is going to be superb.

Blues second half has been the tops in the NHL from a PK standpoint and no goaltender has been better than Elliot not even Halak. Get used to it baby Blues are winning a Cup with Elliot in net and the most dominating defense the NHL has ever seen.

Kings shutout the Blues the last time they played and beat them 3 games to 1. And Quick has been better than Elliot. Guess the dominating defense didn't work against the Kings. Also, check out the Kings PK. Blues are good, Kings are just better. Terrible match up for the Blues.

Neil, if you are just trying to drum up negative responses then you're doing a good job. The blues are unmovable on the penalty kill. You can watch the Kings heat up as much as you like but that puck still isnt going in the back of the net. You can talk about their starting 3 all day but as long as Petro and Shatty are patrolling the ice I'll sleep just fine at night. Here is another example why ESPN should purge their NHL staff and start again. Two thumbs up for the worst analysis I've read yet.

Kings and Blues will be a great series. Not even going to make a prediction, just going to sit back and enjoy the show (so long as their not playing at the same time as my Rangers).

the blues only killed like 96% of their penalties the second half of the season but its unrealistic for them to have another good PK in this series....where do these guys come up with this stuff...
