been a fan of the andretti family since 1969, all of them; but i've got to say that marco is the least friendly, least likable of the whole bunch. i've been in the garages many times, acting respectful to all and marco would never give the time of day. dario, kanaan, dixon, even michael and mario andretti are just the nicest folks and almost always have time to chat for a bit. i still root for marco out of loyalty to the andrettis but i believe for marco to win indy god himself would have to come down and tell marco to quit his uppity, prissy attitude in exchange for winning the race.

I don't know how they top last year. Hildebrand's hitting the wall on the final turn is right there with Earnhardt's final-lap flat tire on the backstretch of Daytona. The fact that Earnhardt later finally won a Daytona 500 should be a good omen for Hildebrand.

It looks like Danica Patrick left the Irl a little to early. Her old team looks to have the best combination of engine chassis. I would have loved to have seen her win the Indy 500.

This is the best chance for the Andretti Curse to be reversed in a long time but the Andretti's know better then anybody that you have to beat Penske to do it and Penske has been better then everyone so far this year. If Marco wins it will be a headline all around the world. He's got the Chevy, he has run well in traffic and if his Chevy can go 500 miles he can silence his critics. If its a shootout in the closing laps between Helio and Marco that would awesome even though I hope Kanaan drinks the milk. Hopefully its a 500 for the ages with a last lap pass not someone stealing it on a fuel mileage win. The weather is going to be hot with a slick track and we will see how the new engines handle the heat and going 500 miles.
