I wish under caution, they would take the field straight through turn 5 and save time. They did it after the race was over, why not during. I know there weren't very many cautions Saturday, but when there were, it took forever. Great run by Danica. Of all the tracks I thought she might run towards the front all day, this would probably be the last I would think of. Will be interesting if she can back it up in Montreal. Jacques Villeneuve.....what else can be said. Bonehead move by a bonehead driver. And his interview after the race made zero sense at all. He had plenty of room to not get into her, but you could clearly tell it was on purpose.

Congratulations to Nelson Piquet Jr. on joining James Buescher, John King, and Justin Lofton as first-time NASCAR (NSCS, NNS, and NCWTS) race winners this season. Now 50% of the NNS races have been won by a driver with 0 NSCS driver points. That's great for the NNS and great for the sport! Jacques Villeneuve's actions toward several drivers were definitely very disappointing. At least he won't be racing at Kentucky on Friday night.

What I think you are trying to say is that when she got the lead she had no clue on how to drive the course. If she was following someone and using their racing line she was fine, but out in front alone she couldn't remember what turn was coming.

for all the haters who weren't watching the race i guess. she ran in the top 10 all day.and if you watch the replay jv slowed down going into the turn and just punted her. he has done this on numerous occasions and to many different drivers. i seem to remember that last year he punted a former open wheel driver who was racing his last race. but you guys just want to hate and she is laughing at you all the way to the bank. she'll eventually win a race that is unless the good ole boys don't wreck her first.

Villneuve is an idiot and wrecks people whenever he races, and his explanation was stupid as he is. Danica was very good except for turn 5 as she said and that is what really caused the wreck because if she had been better there she would have been away from him. So good job for her and she needs to work on turn 5.

I'm not a Danica fan. I feel that once she decided to move to stock cars, she should have run late models for a while to learn the equipment. Sometimes her radio conversations pain me hearing her trying to learn how to drive a stock car over the radio in the top two series of the sport. This week though, I'm impressed with her progression. Yes, she has great equipment, but there are very few race car drivers that can hang up front in any race. She wasn't perfect, especailly when losing the lead by driving too deep. Face it fans, she has some talent.... and I'm talking Tim Richmond type talent.
